About Me
I am Amy Petrillo, RDH and I am your Ultradent Territory Account Manager II (“rep”) for your area.
As your Ultradent representative, I aim to be more than just a “rep” for your office; I want to serve as a consultant to help you understand current and new products. My goal is to assist in reducing overhead costs, increasing production efficiency, ensuring patient comfort and pain relief, all while saving you money without compromising quality. It is truly an honor for me to work for Ultradent. The culture at Ultradent centers on teamwork, respect, and collaboration. But the largest, perhaps most important, part of our culture is our core values: Innovation, Integrity, Quality, Hard Work, and Care. Our core values are at the heart of every decision we make.
I have been a RDH for nearly 30 years. Back in 1999, before social media existed, I founded one of the first online dental hygiene communities. Amyrdh.com, also known as “The Listers,” was a highly popular site for connecting with other hygienists. It was especially valuable for those living and working in rural areas or for hygienists who were the sole practitioner in their office.This group facilitated mentorship, networking, new career opportunities, and lifelong friendships for thousands of hygienists worldwide. Seasoned hygienists guided ambitious students to become successful professionals in the real world. This incredible community transformed my life, and I am grateful for the opportunities, connections, and friendships it brought with the leading figures in dental hygiene.
I was honored with the 2003 RDH Magazine/Sonicare Mentor of the Year award and was one of the winners of the 2004 Sunstar/RDH Magazine Award of Distinction. I have enjoyed all aspects of the dental hygiene profession, including clinical work, adjunct faculty teaching, writing as both a columnist and co-author of the book *The Purple Guide* with Shirley Gutkowski, RDH, BSDH, dental product sales, product education, clinical training, CE development, and international speaking. I am committed to providing outstanding customer service in all my endeavors.
